Never Stop Trying

Sometimes no matter how hard we try to achieve success in monetizing our site or blog, we end up making new mistakes. It is like all our efforts are in vain and it gets tiring and frustrating sometimes. So should we put down all our cards, rest and just quit trying?

Basically it means that we may not be able to control somethings but we are in control of ourselves. Keep trying and you'll be able to learn eventually. All the efforts we did before were not in vain, believe me. Charge it to your experience, a learning curve, a stepping-stone and in every mistake we do comes knowledge and wisdom. All those guys earning big bucks right now didn't start big time. In the future, when we are already earning - we'll laugh it all out and say "It's  a good thing I never stopped trying."

5 Steps I Did for My PR2!

Google just had a major update that was so unexpected. A blogger shouted at Facebook yesterday that is why I got aware of it. I remember the happiness I felt when XleonTips was ranked PR1 before and the sadness that I felt when it was taken away from me. BUT nevertheless, it was given back two-folds. It was really unexpected and I was a bit surprised to see the new ranking, probably if I was more active at promoting this blog I would have ranked higher (just thinking deeper).

So how did I make it to PR2?

After learning about the SEO / SEM and PR and how you can achieve it made this blog more meaningful. So when SEO Blogging, SEM Blogging or PR Blogging, what are the things you should do in order to achieve a higher PR? Check out my previous articles that helped me achieve this PR.

Heart of Swarm

I just finished playing Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty and all I can say is that Blizzard is really great at developing great games with great storylines. Two other great games from them with great storylines are Diablo and Warcraft. I always feel excited every time I watch the cutscenes whenever I finish a mission. It's like I am watching a movie and playing the role at the same time, the only difference is that you know each detail of the story since you are playing the role. I hope there are other games out there with great storyline. For now, I really have to upgrade my computer in order to catch up on their requirements. This game made a lot of fuzz on my machine - it takes ages to load (why can't they make a good game with less requirements?)

Saudi Arabia Paypal Accepts Payment Now!

It has been a long time since I have visited my Paypal account. I just felt something weird about it when I saw a Paypal Saudi Arabia advertisement - "What's with Paypal Saudi Arabia if it can't receive payment?" I asked myself. I spoke to soon coz when I logged-in, I saw the Received Money on the menu. I swear it wasn't there before. So what am I so excited about? Well, it can only mean that I can now receive online payments if I am going to have online jobs. Yes, I am planning on having one or two since my company is on a crisis I am going to need a way to earn money somehow.

Currently, I am busy with a project - a self project just to show something to future clients. I'll probably join a group at oDesk or at Freelancer or just go on solo. But whatever I am going to do, this Paypal update is gonna be my mode of payment. So it is a good news for me -great news.

My Classic XBOX

There is a very powerful machine lying around in my storage that is just dusting and waiting to be utilized or disposed. I remember how I used to enjoy playing games on that machine like Halo and Halo 2, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, DOA - Dead or Alive and DOA: Beach Volleyball Version, etc.... It's too bad Bungee didn't make an Classic XBOX version of Halo 3. The reason it is in my storage is because the DVD's laser just got weak and unable to read most of my favorite games and it is hard to find good service centers here in Saudi Arabia.

Is LAN Gaming Dead?

What was the last game you and your friends have played via LAN? The last game I played a game with my friends was Warcraft: Frozen Throne and we were playing a tower defense map.

Five years ago, I remember that our friends and I used to play LAN games in our places. We setup a network hub/switch and connect and play our games. I remember the games we used to play like Command and Conquer, Red Alert, LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth, Warcraft: Frozen Throne and we also played some RPG games like Diablo I and Diablo II and for FPS games, we liked the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon because we want to play cooperatively (we don't like Counter-Strike).

Multiple Blogging

It has been quite a while since I blog-hopped. Interesting thing was a few bloggers I knew seems to have more new blogs or blog. Great thing about having multiple blogs is that whenever you feel like blogging about something, you have plenty of places to put your ideas. Let's say you have a blog with comedy and entertainment niche and you happen to want to share some funny thing you encountered that day - of course you can blog it on that niche instead of putting it on your food niche.

Lately, I've been into a lot of challenges and I've been up and down so there's been a lot of things happening in my spiritual / inspirational blog. That is the beauty of having multiple blogs with different niches. It is helpful to stick to one to two niche each blog to raise your PR or pagerank in Google. And if you are into Search Engine Marketing (SEM) or Search Engine Optimization (SEO), you'll find this helpful in building up your site's rank and at the same time raises your site's value. If you have optimized your site/blog then earning money from it will be quite easy.
