Final Fantasy VI on iOS and Anroid

When I heard about Square Enix's news about Final Fantasy VI I got quite excited and checked out the screenshots as soon as I heard about it, but I got quite disappointed. Maybe I was expecting a really nice looking game. It is quite nice to look at but I was expecting it to be better. I know I shouldn't be expecting something really nice for tablets but have they seen the graphics of most games lately? I like the Final Fantasy III & IV for android were much better looking - dunno - can't tell because they only went out with 2 screenshots. But I am hoping to hear more about their Kingdom Hearts. I think they so much potential on the tablet market right now.

Dunno, let's see what happens next. From the looks of the first screen shot below - it looks like 3D acceleration or engine will be required, most probably for tablets with NVidia Tegra graphics built-in to it may be able to play with it. And probably they'll show a better screenshot next time.

Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm

Okay, it has been a long time since I've updated this blog and it deserves something new and very entertaining to look at. I have been so busy with my offline adventures in life and I've neglected to update two of my blogs - I know it is supposedly a good thing. Okay so this afternoon I decided to visit Blizzard's page and just discovered their new addition to The World of Warcraft series and a new game called Heroes of the Storm.

I decided to check-out the new title since World of Warcraft is not new anymore and boy I am into a surprise. I decided to watch its cinematic trailer and was amazed at the battle seen. Starcraft's Kerrigan vs. Diablo's Tyrael, Starcraft's Nova (Ghost) vs. World of Warcraft's Lich King and Raynor vs. Diablo (okay I am not entirely sure if it was even Diablo). It was ridiculously amazing - I have to check the video clip of the gameplay before I close my mouth because of amazement. It seems the game is like DOTA or Defense Of The Ancients which made me feel good and bad. Good because if it's like DOTA it won't require too much PC specs and disappointed because I was kinda expecting it to be like Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalur. I want it to be a first person gameplay. Anyway, it still looks good.

HP Slate 21" a Larger-Scale Android Experience

So far, the biggest screen ever made was 10 inches for all tablets so it was quite surprising for HP to create something of a different scale. That's right HP Slate 21 is the first ever android desktop PC ever made - it's just like your desktop PC but with an Android OS. Would this bold move by HP threaten Microsoft? Probably. Imagine desktop machines with just 16//32/64 GB of hard disk space since applications developed in android don't require large space unlike in windows.

The device/machine comes with a keyboard and mouse (wired) and has 3 USB ports and a SD Card slot for extra space. Of course you can also use the USB port for your external hard disks. You can also use it to watch movies and play games. And since it is packed with NVidia graphics, you can play HD games or even 3D games as much as you want.

This really got me interested and I'm already considering to buy one. But for the mean time, let's wait for further feedback from its users. Diablo 3: Now on PS3 and Xbox 360

After unveiling their new expansion pack for Diablo 3, now you can play this game on your consoles PS3 or Xbox 360. Blizzard may have fine-tuned this version for both consoles but it is just like the PC/Mac versions only with some tweaks for the console's controller and some customized interface.

Now Blizzard has a lot more in their hands aside from Diablo 3 PC/Mac users on their battle.net. I wonder how which one will be better at gameplay, the PC/Mac or the console-tuned D3. Another things is, will they be asking you to get connected and create a battle.net account first before playing the game? --probably not since they'll make the D3 Xbox Live available only til October 4. Like most games, both will cost a $59.99.

Future Cars are Flown!

I always wondered how it looked like when cars could fly.... now I know. I recently found some experimental cars on Youtube that is totally cool. It\s probably the most wonderful invention but of course they should also consider the fact that most of these designs need an airstrip and might need an air tower to monitor these flying cars as well. Anyhow, just check the videos.

And here's another one but I prefer the first one which is more like a helicopter coz I love helicopters. Imagine hundreds of this car on the air. Don'\t want this flying on my area, specially since I am here in Saudi Arabia, I can almost imagine the number of accidents.

Starcraft II: Heart of Swarm Opening Cinematic

Check out the new cinematic video of Starcraft II: Heart of Swarm. Kerrigan looks hotter than ever. Well, if you have seen the ending of Starcraft II then you won't be surprised at all. Now, I know why Raynor has got some hots on her. The game is coming on March 2013.
