Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm

Okay, it has been a long time since I've updated this blog and it deserves something new and very entertaining to look at. I have been so busy with my offline adventures in life and I've neglected to update two of my blogs - I know it is supposedly a good thing. Okay so this afternoon I decided to visit Blizzard's page and just discovered their new addition to The World of Warcraft series and a new game called Heroes of the Storm.

I decided to check-out the new title since World of Warcraft is not new anymore and boy I am into a surprise. I decided to watch its cinematic trailer and was amazed at the battle seen. Starcraft's Kerrigan vs. Diablo's Tyrael, Starcraft's Nova (Ghost) vs. World of Warcraft's Lich King and Raynor vs. Diablo (okay I am not entirely sure if it was even Diablo). It was ridiculously amazing - I have to check the video clip of the gameplay before I close my mouth because of amazement. It seems the game is like DOTA or Defense Of The Ancients which made me feel good and bad. Good because if it's like DOTA it won't require too much PC specs and disappointed because I was kinda expecting it to be like Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalur. I want it to be a first person gameplay. Anyway, it still looks good.

HP Slate 21" a Larger-Scale Android Experience

So far, the biggest screen ever made was 10 inches for all tablets so it was quite surprising for HP to create something of a different scale. That's right HP Slate 21 is the first ever android desktop PC ever made - it's just like your desktop PC but with an Android OS. Would this bold move by HP threaten Microsoft? Probably. Imagine desktop machines with just 16//32/64 GB of hard disk space since applications developed in android don't require large space unlike in windows.

The device/machine comes with a keyboard and mouse (wired) and has 3 USB ports and a SD Card slot for extra space. Of course you can also use the USB port for your external hard disks. You can also use it to watch movies and play games. And since it is packed with NVidia graphics, you can play HD games or even 3D games as much as you want.

This really got me interested and I'm already considering to buy one. But for the mean time, let's wait for further feedback from its users. Diablo 3: Now on PS3 and Xbox 360

After unveiling their new expansion pack for Diablo 3, now you can play this game on your consoles PS3 or Xbox 360. Blizzard may have fine-tuned this version for both consoles but it is just like the PC/Mac versions only with some tweaks for the console's controller and some customized interface.

Now Blizzard has a lot more in their hands aside from Diablo 3 PC/Mac users on their battle.net. I wonder how which one will be better at gameplay, the PC/Mac or the console-tuned D3. Another things is, will they be asking you to get connected and create a battle.net account first before playing the game? --probably not since they'll make the D3 Xbox Live available only til October 4. Like most games, both will cost a $59.99.
