Philippines, the Best Vacation Spot

Good day everyone! It's been months since I've posted an article here. I've been busy with a lot of stressing things, sorry. But I am here because I've been thinking a lot about what to do when I go to my beloved country - Philippines. Of course before I forget, belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all! It maybe late but it's the thought that counts eh!

Let's all hope 2012 will be a good year for everyone. 2011 wasn't so good but wasn't even bad for me. It's balanced but more of great blessings, check it out at my Baul ni Noel. If you have been there you'll know that I am out of job pretty soon that is why I am thinking of where to go in Manila when I get there.

While surfing the web, Facebook to be particular, I saw videos of "Pilipinas, Tara Na!" and was amazed at how they have packed all the goodness of Philippine tourist spots in their videos. Actually, because of so many things you can see in the Philippines, you have to check out all their videos. One video contains a collection of tourist spots in the Philippines and since it has only a 5 minutes duration, not all the great spots were included but they made a few videos so you won't miss all of them. It is quite fun and enjoyable to watch, just try it

While browsing backup files that I've archived not so long time ago, I browsed into some of my mobile applications that I have used on my Samsung Omnia 2 and found a collection of GPS applications I've used before. GPS means Geographical Positioning System and it deals with maps and satellite connection and of course GPS devices. Now my Omnia 2 has a GPS device built-in on it and it is capable of tracking my position where ever and when ever I want.

Me and my friend tried one of these applications on his IPhone and it really worked so well. He has even tried using it on their long journey before. These days, having a built-in GPS on handset devices and smart mobiles or getting more in demand. Most devices may have their own GPS built-in on it but they have different performances. It is always best to seek out some professional or unbiased reviews before using the application so you'll get most from your purchased product.

Saved from a Malicious Stalker!

Once again my life was saved by Microsoft's free antivirus.  I was busy browsing the web from Stumbleupon and I probably clicked on a link on some of the sites I've been browsing. Suddenly a window appeared - it is a Microsoft Security Essentials window. It was warning me of a possible threat found on that website and is trying to access my machine.

I remember having this same issue in another machine of mine that is quite old and is still using the Windows XP on it. Once infected with the virus, whenever I go to Facebook, I go to a different site with the same url as the facebook's. Can you believe that? 

It's not a joke when you face this same scenario so if ever you have been infected with a virus here is what you should do.

Benefits in Smoking. Are there any?

You're probably here because you thought there are great things one can achieve from smoking. Sorry but there are none. I just want to highlight how smokers can stop smoking or at least how they can be responsible smokers and what the damages smoking can bring anyone.

Even at a young age, I disliked smoking already. When I was on my 3rd year high school, I tried smoking but it really brought more dislike feeling for me. It's probably because of the smell and the fact that our lungs hates smoke. Here in Saudi Arabia, more and more people specially the locals, become smokers and not just smokers but chain smokers. Worst thing about their cigars are the smell, it sticks in your clothing and your hair and it made me hate smoking the more.

No offense to smokers, most of them are irresponsible smokers. Why? Because they don't care if the people around them (most of them are 2nd hand smokers) dislike smoking. Most of them just lit their cigars comfortably without a care in the world. To think the second hand smokers gets worst than them. If you have no idea, 2nd hand smokers are more dangerous than the 1st hand simply because the 1st hand smokers have filters on them while the 2nd hand don't have any. Best examples are the pregnant smokers and the other one is smoking in the presence of a child. What the parent don't know is that the child is the one that gets more affected than them. It is a selfish act that don't help but makes things worst specially to world climate change. If you don't believe check it out at Google.
