HP Slate 21" a Larger-Scale Android Experience

So far, the biggest screen ever made was 10 inches for all tablets so it was quite surprising for HP to create something of a different scale. That's right HP Slate 21 is the first ever android desktop PC ever made - it's just like your desktop PC but with an Android OS. Would this bold move by HP threaten Microsoft? Probably. Imagine desktop machines with just 16//32/64 GB of hard disk space since applications developed in android don't require large space unlike in windows.

The device/machine comes with a keyboard and mouse (wired) and has 3 USB ports and a SD Card slot for extra space. Of course you can also use the USB port for your external hard disks. You can also use it to watch movies and play games. And since it is packed with NVidia graphics, you can play HD games or even 3D games as much as you want.

This really got me interested and I'm already considering to buy one. But for the mean time, let's wait for further feedback from its users. Dual-Core Android PC on a Stick Please!

The best of technology innovations always come on a tiny package. Take for example, Bose technology of speakers. Bose's technology in making quality speakers is one of the best in the world. Now, a new technology is on the making that emulates smartphone technology right at everyone's fingertip.

The great thing about this new technology is that you can make use of your very own TV via HDMI, laptop or even old PCs with USB to convert it into an Android PC.

FXI's Cotton Candy is a dual-core Android PC on a stick. It may look like a common USB device but inside - a 1.2 Ghz Samsung Exynos ARM CPU, ARM Mali-400 MP quad-core GPU, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro SD card slot for storage, and a HDMI jack on the opposite end (according to theverge's website). The Verge conducted a few test runs already and was able to play Angry Birds on a Mac PC.

It is still under development and will probably out on the market next year with a price less than $200.

The Android Addict!

I've been using my Samsung Omnia i8000 with Windows Mobile 6.5 for over a year now and it's just like a plain basic smartphone now. I only use it to call and play a few games. And since its camera broke down for the third time and the warranty expired already, I grew tired and decided to accept the fact that I lost the camera already.

Samsung Omnia i8000 was already considered a failure and just after 6 months of being launched they just stopped promoting it and went promoting the new ones. It was my first time to buy a smart phone and it sucks whenever I realize its value. I am sour-graping here people and a bit regretful of my decision to buy it. I bought it the same time as my wife's HTC HD2. I thought since it has a dedicated graphics accelerator it will be faster but I was wrong.

Okay, I thought "was that it for my device?" until months ago I've heard of people trying to port Android on Omnia i8000. Yes, they are making the Android available for my dull mobile device. I was so eager to use it but when I read the article it says that there are still a lot of bugs and a lot of features are still not working, so I waited. And I waited.....
